HLTAID003 – Provide first aid
Whether for work, sport, leisure activities or home – the ability to perform first aid can save someone’s life. And that someone might be a loved one! Our First Aid Course in Melbourne is necessary for the workplace, and also everyday life.
Prerequisites/Entry Requirements:
There are no formal prerequisites; however participants should have basic English communication and comprehension skills.
About the course – Key topics
- Apply first aid procedures
- Perform CPR
- Communicate, report and record the incident
Completion of pre-workshop reading and pre-workshop assessment activities.
Prior to the first aid workshop, participants will be provided with a learning pack which includes all required theoretical knowledge. The pack requires completion prior to the workshop day.
Attendance at a one day workshop.
Our First Aid Courses in Melbourne are facilitated by a member of our highly experienced training team, and includes trainer presentations, role plays, small group work and in class practical activities – so your participation will be required! Assessment activities include a multiple choice test and demonstration of practical skills in a simulated environment.
