Whether for work, sport, leisure activities or home – the ability to perform CPR can save someone’s life. And that someone might be a loved one!
There are no prerequisites, however participants must be able to converse and comprehend basic English. Participants will complete language, numeracy and literacy assessment on course commencement to assess their capacity to meet language requirements. Participants will also need to have the physical capacity to undertake the practical components of this course.

Prior to the workshop in Melbourne, participants will be provided with a learning pack which includes all required theoretical knowledge. The pack requires completion prior to the workshop day.
The training program involves attendance and participation in a 4 hour workshop.
Each workshop is facilitated by a member of our highly experienced training team, and includes trainer presentations, role plays, small group work and in class practical activities – so your participation will be required!
Assessment activities include demonstration of practical skills in a simulated environment and satisfactory completion of a multiple choice test.
Remember – industry standard required CPR to be updated every 12 months.
Training Pathway: After achieving HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation graduates may undertake HLTAID003 Provide first aid.
Employment Pathway: After achieving this course graduates may undertake work site First Aid Officer roles; volunteer at sporting and other events.
- This course is run at our Rowville training facility in Melbourne on a monthly basis. The course runs from 8am-12pm and is a half day course.
