CPR Course

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Basic written and spoken English is required to provide verbal reports and notes of incident/casualty to supervisor and/or emergency response services. All participants will be required to complete a language, literacy and numeracy assessment prior to or on commencement of this unit.Applicants must also have the physical capacity to meet the requirements of the unit.

– Perform CPR in accordance with Australian guidelines

– Communicate, report and record the incidentPrior to the workshop in Melbourne, participants will be provided with a learning pack which includes all required theoretical knowledge. The pack requires completion prior to the workshop day.The training program involves attendance and participation in a 4 hour workshop.Each workshop is facilitated by a member of our highly experienced training team, and includes trainer presentations, role plays, small group work and in class practical activities – so your participation will be required!

Assessment activities include demonstration of practical skills in a simulated environment and satisfactory completion of a multiple choice test.

Remember – industry standard required CPR to be updated every 12 months.

CPR is a 4 hour course.

There are factors that can make some people more high risk than others, but this doesn’t mean that cardiac arrest can’t occur in anyone, even those without previous heart conditions.
