The work safely at heights workshop is designed for persons to work safely on construction sites where there is a risk of falling when working above the ground at heights, or below the ground where you can fall from one depth to another.
Construction Training Group’s working at height courses in Melbourne will provide you with the essential knowledge of equipment and procedures outlined in the OH&S Regulation and AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 , and the operation and maintenance of associated safety equipment.
There are no prerequisites, however participants must be able to converse and comprehend basic English. Participants will complete language, numeracy and literacy assessment on course commencement to assess their capacity to meet language requirements. Participants will also need to have the physical capacity to undertake the practical components of this course.

Each workshop is facilitated by a member of our highly experienced training team in Melbourne, and includes trainer presentations, small group work, and practical activities – so your participation will be required! Assessment activities include a practical demonstration and a written test.
Training Pathway: After achieving RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights Course graduates may undertake TLILIC2005A Licence to operate a boom-type elevated work platform (boom length 11m or more)
Employment Pathway: Operational roles within the civil construction, building maintenance industries.
- This course is run at our Rowville training facility on a monthly basis. The course runs from 8am-3pm and is a one day course.
- This course can also be run off=site, on request of the customer. Minimum numbers do apply. Please contact one of our friendly staff should this be of interest.
